Terms And Conditions
The following terms and conditions establish the contract between You, the client, and Blue Horse Removals LTD, clarifying your entitlements, duties, and the responsibilities of the service provider. By proceeding with Blue Horse Removals’ moving services, you acknowledge and agree to these terms:
Comprehension:
Throughout these terms, ‘we’ or ‘our’ signifies the service provider, while ‘you’ or ‘your’ denotes the client. ‘Goods’ refers to the items subject to relocation, transit, or warehousing.
Cost Breakdown:
Our provided quotes encompass all applicable VAT and tax, but exclude any customs duties, levies, or government-imposed fees, which remain the client’s responsibility. While we offer a set price, adjustments may be necessary for unforeseen circumstances not initially factored into the quotation
- External factors, such as volatile currency markets, revised tax regulations, and unforeseen freight costs, can lead to higher prices
- Unforeseen services, meaning those not initially communicated by the client or identified during the survey, may incur supplementary charges
- A supplemental rate of £25.00 per hour, per individual, is applicable for labor conducted after 6:00 pm, seven days a week, unless otherwise stipulated
- Additional costs are possible if access to the new property or keys are not provided on time, unless there’s an existing agreement
- Our vehicles cannot reach the collection or delivery location due to insufficient access or an inappropriate route
- You will bear the cost of any parking, tolls, or other fees necessary for the completion of your requested services
- Movement of goods is hindered by access limitations, such as insufficient entry or exit points, stairways, elevators, or doorways, which necessitate mechanical assistance or building modifications. Additionally, if the approach, road, or driveway prevents our vehicles and/or containers from loading or unloading within 20 meters of the entrance, it presents an obstacle.
Services not included in Our Quoted Price:
Our services, unless explicitly stated in a written agreement, do not include: disconnecting or reconnecting any appliances, fixtures, or machinery; removing or installing fixed floor coverings; handling curtains, blinds, or other window treatments; moving items that our team deems unsafe or potentially damaging to themselves, the items, or the surrounding property; and clearing driveways or access areas of obstructions like snow, ice, or debris at either location
Excluded Property:
This agreement explicitly excludes the transport of certain items. These include, but are not limited to, hazardous materials like gas cylinders, munitions, and flammable substances, as well as goods that may attract pests or spread disease. Live animals and their enclosures are also excluded. We will not handle these items unless a prior written agreement is in place. Should you include these items without our knowledge and consent, we will not be held responsible for any associated loss or damage, except in cases of death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or that of our personnel. You will be held financially responsible for any claims, costs, or penalties levied against us by third parties
Furthermore, stolen goods, illegal substances, and pornographic materials are strictly prohibited. We will not transport these items without a prearranged written agreement. Submitting such goods unknowingly will absolve us of liability for any resulting loss or damage, except for death or injury caused by our negligence or that of our staff. You will also be required to cover any third-party claims, expenses, or penalties incurred by us
Entire Agreement:
This document, encompassing both these Terms and Conditions and our provided quotation, constitutes the complete and exclusive agreement between our parties, superseding any prior oral exchanges. Any modifications to these terms require written confirmation to be effective. Regardless of any agreed-upon alterations, the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions will remain fully enforceable
Legal Authority:
Depending on the location of our main operational headquarters, this agreement will be legally interpreted under either the laws of England and Wales, or those of Scotland; the specific jurisdiction being determined by our primary business address
